We are a small, highly-qualified team with in-depth corporate leadership and management consulting experience that can be applied to any size company, across all industries. The reason? We deal primarily with people and how to engage them to make any organization more successful.

Our core competence is a systematic method for building values-driven organizational alignment. We have expertise in change management, corporate culture, business process reengineering, marketing, sales, and internal operations, training and communication. We accelerate successful business change using our proven processes enhanced by internal and external social networking methodologies.

How We Do It
Our consulting model is one of rapid, focused intervention, with a clear exit strategy. We don’t believe in extended engagements, rather, we work with internal client teams to develop expertise within the organization to continue implementation of the values-driven alignment initiatives we design.

Our process includes analyzing client issues thoroughly; providing the necessary expertise for the design of practical, workable solutions; and transferring knowledge and skills to our clients’ teams to ensure the organization can manage initiatives long after we are gone. A key success factor is broad participation among all stakeholders including executive management, key influencers, employees, partners, customers, and alliances.

Kenneth Majer, Ph.D., Managing Partner

Ken has been a successful author, consultant, and speaker for over 30 years. He has twice addressed White House conferences and is a Resource Speaker for Vistage International, the world’s largest CEO member organization. A graduate of Stanford University, Ken earned his M.S. and Ph.D from The Florida State University. He is an organizational change strategist with emphasis on workforce alignment and values-driven corporate culture.  A partial list of clients includes Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC), AT&T, ARC International, Citibank, Gienow (Canada), GTE, Intel, Motorola, Navteq, Nissan, Pacific Gas & Electric, Sharp HealthCare, State Farm Insurance, Toyota Financial Services, and the US Government. As a consultant to the US Agency for International Development, Ken designed basic skills education programs in southern Africa as part of America’s human rights interests in the region. Ken is the organizational design, executive coaching, and values-based culture specialist on the MajerStrategies team.

Michael M. J. Walsh, Partner

Mike Walsh is a graduate of Stanford University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has served as a senior executive with major companies including IBM, Docutel, VISA, BBDO, VLSI Technology and Comdisco. He was President of North America for Navigation Technologies, where he also was responsible for global operations. Navteq is the world’s leading provider of digital map data for directions and vehicle navigation. Mike has served on a half dozen Boards of Directors for software and technology companies. As consultant and entrepreneur, he has been involved with a variety of early to mid-stage companies assisting in the development of business plans, sales and marketing strategies and fund raising. Mike is the leading business strategist on the MajerStrategies team.

Robert Knauft, PhD, Partner

Dr. Robert Knauft is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. He has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles in the field of management consulting. Robert has provided thought leadership and led engagements to help Fortune 500 clients articulate and implement operational business strategies, reengineer core business processes, launch learning and knowledge management programs, and apply information technology to improve business performance. Industry experience includes insurance/financial services, technology, and manufacturing. Key clients include Prudential Financial, State Farm Insurance, Lincoln Financial, Motorola and Sun Microsystems. Robert is the performance improvement specialist on the MajerStrategies team.

Kelly Ross Kerr, "Tech-Tainment" Specialist - [Exit, Blog]

Kelly's unique set of skills led him to the creation of [Exit, Produced by a Bear], an entertainment production and technology company that helps clients enhance their businesses through the use of entertainment and technology.  [Exit, works with select clients to increase the entertainment and production value of their content, to build a stonger level of engagement with their target audience.

As owner of [Exit, Produced By a Bear], formerly KK Interactive, LLC, Kelly has over 12 years of experience as an internet and multi-media developer. His clients have included Paul McCartney, Queen, The Pet Shop Boys, Parlophone Records, A.G. Edwards, AmerenUE, Budweiser, Dale Carnegie, the U.S. Men’s Olympic Bobsled Team, and many more. He also has over 14 years experience in Television and Radio Production with credits including; director, producer, and camera operator for live broadcasts on CNN, Fox News, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, and local television stations.  In 2005, Kelly was awarded Professional Member of the Year by the National Broadcasting Society. 

Also included in his resume is 20 years of experience in live theatre production, with over 4000 performances to his credit as a sound designer, stage manager, producer, director, or actor and he is currently vounteering as Managing Director for Echo Theatre Company in St. Louis, Missouri.
